We were lucky enough to be on the same team for a few years. Can you tell what it says on Duanes Baseball? He loved to pitch. He wanted to pitch. He was always hauling me out to catch for him. He did have a complete collection of the 1962 Giants baseball cards.
See the first time I went to Vernal Falls was in 1961. I was 9 that year. I still remember the night mare of falling over the falls. Also did I ever tell you how fascinated I was with rope. You should see my collection now. Plus I made a book of knots. I hope you all get to see these falls from this bridge.
Now here is our fort that we had in our back yard. Our dog Dash is holding still for the picture. Duane made some brands for us. a DH and GH, plus the horse shoes. This fort had a door, a window, a hatch with ladder and a secret compartment.
Later Dad went back and asked them for the door. He saved it for quite some time, but when we went back to find it it was gone.

Duane took a ride down this neighborhood recently. He counted 44 children in 23 homes. Imagine as one time this was my world, the only one I knew. I thought it would never end.
