52-4-9 St George

How can I go hiking when it is so wet and cold? Why is it so cold? Is
it because of all the current sun spots?

So, this week we traveled to St. George. We did a little bit of hiking also.

We first went to see some river banks that Uncle John Nelson had been
working on. We also had to see this old one lane bridge. He also knew
where there was a big gnarly rock we could stand next to and get a
picture.

I thought Dixie Utah was sunny and hot this time of year. What is with
all this cold and snow? See the snowy book cliffs.

We also went to see Gunlock Resevour. This is the one that flooded
last year and other years. See how the water flows out of the rocks.

We also made it to the rim above St George. At last some hiking. At
this place there is a juvenile jail. mmm. I had not heard about this
one before.

Then finally we made it to the Temple where Joseph and Lexie Nelson
were married for time an all eternity.
