I learned that observing is dumb.

Ok, let me try to splain. (explain)
John is still going to school, attempting to get a teaching certificate. Perhaps he will be employed by a school someday.
He has one class where they are instructing him in different teaching techniques. So one assigment he has is to observe a class in the area. He selected Timpanogos HS.
He did make prior arrangments with the instructor to visit, however he was not to interupt the class so he was sitting more quietly than anyone else. He was was quite also. I wonder if he learned anything also?
